First off, I own quite a few alpha direct hoodies, but this was my first printed design. The colors are fabulous and the construction is clearly high quality. I fell in love with the design and the in person experience was just as good.
The only things I would say as a personal preference is the hood design is a bit odd. It doesn't come down all the way on top and then when you tighten it shut it doesn't fully cover the mouth. The material is also not very lofted. I thought this might be a symptom of the printed alpha, but I recently bought another printed hoodie from a different seller and it was much more lofted and comfortable.
These things may not be an issue for you, and if you're looking for great construction and an AWESOME pattern (seriously one of the best I've ever seen) then this hoodie is for you! If you want something softer and with a lot of face coverage, it may not be the best design for your needs.

I've looking for the perfect mid layer for my upcoming PCT hike this year and I finally found it in this super cute, super light, super colorful alpha direct hoody! Thank you, Lightheart Gear for making such a great fitting, soft, light hoody. Love the pocket and thumbholes and hood and cinch cord around the hood!
